Update

I haven't updated for the longest time.

Today, I received my transcript and certificate of completion from Chiba University. I managed to transfer 6 courses from Chiba.

In other news, my Japanese professor created a non-credit study group for us. It consists of those of us who returned from Japan. A Japanese student is conducting it. Currently, we are studying for the level 1 proficiency exam.

I am currently taking 22 credits or 7 classes. With a double major and a minor, I will graduate in May! =)

Easy Breezy Beautiful

It is reported that New York will hit 38 degree Celsius in the upcoming days. Although it is merely in the low 30s here, I cannot help but turn on the air conditioner on. Our professors have been asking if we can fall asleep at night. While fellow students are shaking their head, I'm only questioning the amount of my upcoming electricity bill.

It is finally raining I couldn't help but hum the "Easy breezy beautiful (Cover Girl)" tune. For the past week, I have refused to open the window. I'm convinced that it is cooler with the windows closed, even if the air conditioner is not on.

In other news, my scheduled departure is the 2nd earliest among the foreign exchange students. In April, I have packed and brought back a suitcase worth of jackets and other things. Earlier this month, I packed another suitcase worth of clothes and shoes for Rob to bring back. Even the one suitcase that I have in my room is 3/4 packed with more clothes. What have I done?

Nikko Edo Mura

On a Saturday morning, we went to Asakusa to purchase tickets, and then, off to a long train ride to Nikko Edo Mura in Kinugawa~! At last, it was well worth it.

DisneyLand

We went to Disney Sea a few months ago. Dispite the reviews from various people about DisneyLand, we decided to check it out ourselves.

Tokyo Dome

On a random Friday, we decided to stroll around Tokyo Dome, Ebisu, etc.

Taiwan

Once again, no time to write for the trip~ Anyway, our trip included: near-death experience at our rafting trip, tallest building in the world, fastest elevator in the world, fruits I have never eaten before, driving and riding a moped, hiking up a mountain, first time receiving a painful foot massage, only ferris wheel on a building in the world, and many more.

Yokohama

We finally visited Yokohama and the surrounding areas. The largest chinatown in Japan lies there. Most excitingly, I finally got to visit the ramen museum!

LaLaPort

The mall is like a maze. Also, our favorite food court with various Asian cuisine is there.
